Tampere, Laukontori harbour – Hämeenlinna

Hopealinja route, the route named after our company, goes between Tampere and Hämeenlinna in the beautiful scenery of Lake Pyhäjärvi and Lake Vanajavesi. On the way, the boat stops at Visavuori where you can visit the workshop of sculptor Emil Wikström and the pavilion of his grandson cartoonist Kari Suomalainen.

On Tampere side of the route, you will see the magnificent gravel ridges of Pyynikki and Pispala, the impressive narrow of Sotkanvirta in Nokia, Hattula churches and, of course, the medieval Häme castle and its magnificent brick walls right on the banks of Lake Vanajavesi.

The route Hämeenlinna-Tampere is operated with m/s Silver Moon that has a cozy restaurant with an a-licence. Enjoy the scenery and restaurant service and let your mind relax on the waves.

In addition to Visavuori, along the route is also Lepaa wine farm, Lempäälä canal,  the Scandic Hotel Spas Aulanko and Eden, Myllyranta park, Vaihmalan Hovi in Lempäälä (15 minutes from Lempäälä canal) among other things.
